Registrations for Emerging Theatre Artists' Competition and Outdoor Carnival are open!

The 2025 Wuzhen Theatre Festival will be held from October 16 to October 26, 2025! The theme is Swirling Up.

Theme: Swirling Up

"Fuyao" or "Swirling Up" comes from the philosopher Zhuang Zi's Worriless Journey (4th C. BC) and means a swirling wind moving up. It is what propels the majestic mythical creatures Kun and Peng to fly for 90,0000 miles.
