About The Lost Castle
Starting from dance, the body, and stage installations, the piece expresses people's thinking about life and discusses the different mental and physical states of people at different stages. Through the filth and sanctity of the body, and its interaction with the surrounding environment and objects, it charts a process of continuous self-search. "I", in a confused state, tries to find his spiritual castle. Through watching the body under Dionysian orgy and physical torture, recalling the body's longing, passion, taboo, gain and loss, and finding the destination of "me" in the search for the road to freedom. The castle may not be here at all, nor anywhere, it is maybe somewhere else that cannot be reached.

About Yuerge Dance Theater
Starting from the concept of "giving the body more possibilities", Yuerge Dance Theater explores the richness and diversity of dance and body behavior. It constantly expands the boundaries of the body, creating based on the particular bodies and physical condition of the actors. Through developing different levels within the body, Yuerge Dance Theater uses the body to express and perform, at the same time crossing between the disciplines of music, dance, visual arts, and drama, endowing the works with contemporary theatrical aesthetics.
