About Run Away to the Moon
Run Away to the Moon is a full-length novel by author Lu Min, first published in 2017.
It explores the fantasy of escaping ordinary life for an ideal one. Xiaoliu's accident leads her to the strange town of Wuque, but life entangles her again. Her friends and family "repair" her absence, and when she returns, everything feels familiar yet different.
The story mirrors Chang'e's flight to the moon. Will she be truly liberated, or will she continue to bear the shackles elsewhere? In this journey of pursuit and escape, we are always searching for the true meaning of self and freedom.
