About Wasteland of the Puppies
It's 1991. You rode home from work and turned on the TV: the news was reporting that humans would be extinct by the end of '99; TV lecture was selling new brain surgeries; teleplay was talking about the conspiracies of biotech companies; life channel was showing a woman who just giving birth tutoring how to make carp soup; and health experts were describing new tape recorders that can record human brain waves. You went to bed in the dead of night—The new millennium is almost frightening and exciting.
