About Deep Blue

Deep Blue, directed by Liu Xiaoyi, uses a variety of creative elements to reproduce a vivid underwater world. The actors use discarded objects, sand, water, light, puppet, sound and also original music to transform the theater into the ocean. They use an oriental poetic way to create an infinite imaginary world. Sitting in the theater of Deep Blue, you can chase the waves, play with the little fish, follow the whale sharks, and dive to the depths of the sea that you have never seen before… When the audience walk out of the theater, they will cherish our Mother Ocean and be in awe of her.

About Liu Xiaoyi

Liu Xiaoyi graduated from Beijing Dance Academy in 2009, and founded the Touch Laboratory in 2015. He mainly engaged in the creation of stage plays and the development of drama courses. He has been invited to participate in Edinburgh International Festival, London South Bank Festival, Sibiu Theatre Festival, Russian Golden Radish Children's Drama Festival and Wuzhen Theatre Festival, etc.. He has studied stage play skills with masters such as David Bledel, Jeff, and Ed from Lecoq Academy.
