Reviews
Solo performance starts to shine when it leaps from "loneliness" to "singularity".

Listen to Your Inner Ape, two theater practitioners' way out.

Li Feiteng really did it. He used an intricate yet natural way of performing to represent a journey from the wild, half-tamed, tamed and then gentrified, peeling through each progressive step. His performance is flawless; meanwhile, he stays tuned to the live audience, relaxed and natural. I think all audiences would be impressed by this young actor.

About Listen to Your Inner Ape
Listen to Your Inner Ape, adapted from Franz Kafka's short story A Report to the Academy (1917), tells the tale of an ape reporting to a human audience about how he escaped from the cage where he was kept as a prisoner, during which he had the epiphany that the only way out was to become one of them.
